Biography

Løgømyx' musical journey commenced at the age of 12 with the iconic riffs of Angus Young, guitarist from AC/DC. This passion for guitar set the stage for a lifelong love affair with music. Later on, a new inspiration emerged—Matt Bellamy from Muse. This encounter unveiled a profound appreciation for classical music, prompting Løgømyx to explore the depths of the piano. The melodies of Muse soon made room for the intricate compositions of Frédéric Chopin and Sergei Rachmaninoff.

It was during a later phase in life that his sonic exploration took an unexpected turn, leading to a fascination with electronic music. A pivotal moment arrived with the album Immunity by Jon Hopkins—an immersive experience that unraveled the potential of the genre. Inspired by this encounter, Løgømyx ventured further into uncharted territory, discovering artists such as Floating Points, Rival Consoles and Max Cooper.

His work has since gained recognition within the contemporary electronic scene, leading to remixes by established artists such as Alex Banks and Aparde. Løgømyx has also released music on the label of Steven Weston as well as the imprint of Sailor & I—further affirming the recognition and support of respected figures within the melodic and experimental electronic community.

Alongside his studio work, Løgømyx places strong emphasis on immersive audiovisual live performances. His shows are carefully constructed journeys in which sound and visuals exist in symbiosis. Drawing inspiration from the emotional intensity of Jon Hopkins, the textural depth of Floating Points, the cinematic minimalism of Rival Consoles and the conceptual audiovisual integration of Max Cooper, his performances transcend the traditional DJ format—blending live modular synths  and synchronized visual elements into a fully immersive experience.

Combining the melodic sensibilities of classical music with the cutting-edge sounds of experimental electronica, Løgømyx continues to build his own universe, one where organic matter and digital landscapes merge seamlessly, both in the studio and on stage.
